weekend surf report feb 19th

Surfing news and events
Great promotion in the surf shop at the moment. 2 for the price of 1 on surf clothing. Free board bag with any new board purchased. Click here.
We also have a big selection of performance boards in stock from local and international shapers, all come with fins and free board bag. Click here.
Pete is still off on his travels. Left the quite sunny north island of NZ for the even hotter shores of the Gold Coast Aus. Just a stop on the way to the tropical shores of Bali. Lucky man.
The Surfbreaks.ie trip to Morocco all arrived back happy and surfed out. They got good waves all week. Lots of Irish people in Morocco for surf this year. Anchor Point was double to triple overhead one day and reports are the standout surfer on the day was Cain Kilcullen from Enniscrone, who is on our surf team. Good photos on the way from Daveth @ Mindscape.ie who had his camera gear on the trip.

Weekend surf forecast
We had a few surprisingly decent days here this week, even though we thought the swell was a bit too north for Bundoran. We were all packed and ready to head for a good north facing spot when we spotted good sets at a Bundoran reef. Only 2 foot but clean and barreling waves so saved us having to drive.
For the weekend looks like Saturday will be the best day. On Sat we are expecting waves in the 3 foot range at Tullan with light cross shore winds (southerly). The winds may turn a bit more variable during the day but should stay light. Probably enough swell for Rossnowlagh also but check Tullan first. On sunday the swell direction is going to be more from the north so it will miss Bundoran a bit. Should still be enough for 1-2 foot waves at Tullan with very light onshore winds so not as good as Sat.
Tides this weekend high (3.4m) at 10am and low (1.1m) at 4pm Enjoy!
